What the care home does well

The home continues to provide care and support to residents in a sensitive, individual and considerate way. Staff receive high levels of training to help them do their job and work closely with a wide range of healthcare professionals. The manager shared with us a copy of a letter she had received from the family of a person new to their respite care programme. The person concerned had previously had a bad experience of respite care and was reluctant to try again. The family said they were grateful for the service, felt very welcome whenever they visited the home and that the family enjoyed the `relaxed environment staff endeavour to create`. They also said `I think that as a team you have one of the best respite facilities I have ever come across I can honestly say you are one in a million`.
