This is an overview of what the inspector found during the inspection. Palm Lodge was registered by the CSCI in August 2006 following a registration process that included a site visit and submission of a full application by the home detailing its aims, policies and procedures. A satisfactory fit person interview for the manager was held in July 2006. The home does not currently have any service users and this report is therefore limited in its scope, drawing heavily on information obtained during the registration process and from previous experience with the Registered Providers in respect of other services registered with the CSCI. It is understood that the assessment process for potential service users is under way and that it is expected that the first service users will move into the home during the first quarter of 2007. What the service does well: What has improved since the last inspection?
