The home is now registered to provide a service to people with dementia and the manager has attended a leadership matters in person centred dementia care course. In the last 12 months staffing levels have increased to meet the needs of the people living there and an office administrator has been appointed to assist the manager with paperwork. There is an activities organiser, a handyman, catering, domestic and laundry staff. In addition to the manager there is a head of care and senior care assistants. There is always a senior member of staff on duty. At the time of the visit staffing levels were sufficient to meet the needs of the people living there.
