Annual Service Review Page 3 of 6 Service update since the last key inspection or annual service review: What did we do for this annual service review? We looked at all the information we have received, or asked for, since the last key inspection. This included:Surveys returned to us by people living in the home and from staff. What the home has told us about things that have happened in the home, these are called notifications and are a legal requirement and information from the previous key inspection report. What has this told us about the service? We asked the home to send us a completed Annual Quality Assurance Assessment by the 17th March. The self assessment tells us how the home is meeting and improving the outcomes for people living at Grange Court . Although the home sent us their AQAA this was not available to the inspector at the time of writing this report. We received comments from three people who live at the home. They said they were happy living at the home. One person said I have no complaints about Grange Court. All of the surveys indicated people enjoyed the food. One relative who completed the questionnaire on their relatives behalf stated:My relative has been in Grange Court almost three years, the care they have received has been outstanding, the atmosphere is warm and caring, they provide lots of love and understanding. I have had meals with my relative, the food is lovely. I myself cannot give my relative more care that they receive at Grange Court. The staff are super, its a very inviting place, I give them full marks. Another relative who also indicated they were satisfied with the service their relative receives made the following comments:(name of person) was admitted as an emergency case, staff got to know them quickly and dealt with them extremely well. Two members of staff who returned their surveys indicated they are given up to date information about the needs of the people they care for. They indicated the home had carried out recruitment checks before they started working in the home, such as Criminal Record Bureau checks. They also indicated they had received induction training which had covered what they needed to know to enable them to carry out their work.
