The home is a pleasantly furnished and decorated two-storey building and is situated in a quiet residential area of Stoneygate, Leicester. 1 8 0 3 2 0 0 9 Annual Service Review Page 2 of 5 It is set in extensive grounds, surrounded by lawns and mature trees. Annual Service Review Page 3 of 5 Service update since the last key inspection or annual service review: What did we do for this annual service review? We looked at all the information we received or asked for since the last key inspection. This included the annual quality assurance assessment (AQAA) which the provider sent us. The AQAA is a self assessment tool that focuses on how well outcomes are being met for people using the service. It also gave us some numerical information about the service and information about how the providers have managed any complaints. We also looked at the notifications the providers sent to us since the last key inspection. The previous key inspection and any other visits we have made to the service in the last twelve months and any information we have received from other organizations about the service. What has this told us about the service? The provider sent us their AQAA when we asked for it. The AQAA was clear and comprehensive and gave us detailed information about the service and the improvements the providers have made or are working towards. We have received some information about any changes or incidents that have occurred in the last twelve months. The registered manager was away from the home on leave and the service was being managed by an acting manager at the time of writing this annual service review. What are we going to do as a result of this annual service review? We are going to change our inspection plan and will carry out a key inspection at the service.
