What the care home does well The deputy manager said that the home continues to provide good outcomes for the people who live there. From observation and what staff said during the visit, each person is treated as an individual and they are well cared for. People seemed relaxed and there was a pleasant atmosphere. Since we carried out our last inspection we have not received any information that gives cause for concern and would make us consider that the current quality rating is not accurate. What the care home could do better: If the home was re painted this would make it a more pleasant place for people to live. Care Homes for Adults (18-65 years) Page 3 of 7 What we found: The reason for this random inspection visit was to see if the home was still providing a good service to the people who live there. As well as checking that action had been taken by the providers to meet the requirements made at the previous key inspection. At the tiome of the visit the deputy manager was on duty. Requirements made at the last key inspection were: 1. To replace the hall and lounge carpet. We found that: 1. The carpets had been replaced. We also found that there has been a change of manager at the home. They are not yet registered with the Commission. In some areas of the home the paintwork was chipped and the walls were marked. The deputy manager said that there are plans in place for the home to be redecorated in the near future.
