CQC consults on new care standards

The Care Quality Commission, the organization now responsible for the regulation of care homes has launched a consultation on new care standards.

"Important changes are being made to the way that health and adult social care is regulated in England. We think they will make regulation fairer and clearer for providers of care, and make sure that services meet essential common standards of safety and quality."
