The home is a large detached property with well-maintained grounds. Service users can access the facilities in Fulford, which include shops, a local church, library, schools, hairdressers and the GP surgery. Information is provided in the service user guide and statement of purpose. A random visit took place on Friday 9th January 2009. This was to confirm that the service continues to provide good outcomes for people. One inspector spent two hours at the home. During this time aspects of health and personal care, complaints and protection and management and administration were inspected and discussed.
