Although the home is registered for only seven beds, currently only six residents are in occupation. The home provides long stay provision and the existing resident group have been accommodated there between 4 and 14 years. The home is a large detached house in a residential area in Penge. This random inspection was carried out with the assistance of the Deputy Manager, Ms Ferguson. During the course of the inspection, the inspector spoke with three members of staff and one resident, two at the premises, and discussed compliance of the service with past requirements.
