Annual Service Review Page 2 of 4 Service update since the last key inspection or annual service review: What did we do for this annual service review? To carry out the review of this service we looked at all of the information we have received since the previous review. This included: The Annual Quality Assurance Assessment (AQAA) a self-assessment form completed by the manager of the service. Records held by us about the service. What has this told us about the service? The manager returned the completed AQAA when we asked for it. The form provides information about how the service operates and the quality of the service provided, and requires the manager to provide information about how this can be demonstrated. The information provided told us that the home continues to meet the needs of the people who use it. The AQAA also asks the service to outline plans for continued development. Some of the responses in these sections would benefit from further thought and development. A number of responses to this question said continue to ... provide the service currently on offer. The AQAA also said that the home did not have an annual development plan for quality assurance. Such a plan may help the service to define better how improvements could be made. We have not received any concerns or complaints about the service. What are we going to do as a result of this annual service review? We are not going to change our inspection plan, we will carry out a full inspection of the service by 29th April 2010. However, we can carry out an inspection at any time should we feel this is necessary.
