Care Homes for Older People Page 3 of 11 What we found: We looked at all of the information we have about this service since our last inspection in 2006. We asked the home to provide us with an Annual Quality Assurance Assessment (AQAA). The AQAA shows us that no one is using the service at this time. We asked Mr Wardle if the service was still dormant. This means that there are no people using the service or living on the premises. He confirmed that this was still the case. Mr Wardle also told us there had been some improvements made to the home environment to repair some of the damage caused by the fire in 2006. The provider continues to pay the fees for the registration of the service as required and at this time does not wish to consider de registering the service.
