Care Homes for Adults (18-65 years) Page 3 of 7 What we found: This was an unannounced random inspection visit to update our assessment of compliance with the national minimum standards for Care Homes for Adults (18-65). The visit was carried out on the 28th June 2010 by one compliance inspector. During our visit we spoke with three service users and two members of staff. We looked at recruitment records for two staff, recently employed as volunteers, and training records. We looked at three service users care plans and records of complaints. We found that the service is continuing being managed very well, and that people are receiving the support they need in the way that they wish it. People are very happy with the service provided, and find the staff helpful and friendly. Our preparation for the visit included information provided in Care Quality Commission (CQC) surveys completed by five service users and seven staff. The annual quality assurance assessment (AQAA) had been completed by the registered manager, this told us about the service, the improvements which have been implemented, and gave us some numerical information about the service.
