The Home is located on the main road between Dudley and Tipton, with public transport and local amenities easily accessible. Accommodation is provided on two floors; all bedrooms are single and have en-suite facilities. There is a lounge dining rooms on both floors and a number of small quiet sitting areas. A team of professionals, which include Physiotherapists and Occupational health Therapists visiting each week to assess and assist this care. There are pleasant views of the Black Country canal at the rear of the Home and the Black Country Museum is approximately 300 metres away. There is car parking to the front of the Home and gardens and patio areas to the rear. The scale of charges were not included in the Service User Guide documents so we advise readers to contact the service directly for this information. We visited the home to assess its compliance with a Statutory Requirement Notice issued in relation to medication management on 22 January 2010. Two inspectors visited the home. We looked at the way medication was managed for six people living in various parts of the home which included the ground, first floor and intermediate care unit areas. We found the Statutory Requirement notice to be met.
