If yes, what have they been: Date of last key inspection: Date of last annual service review (if applicable): Brief description of the service Emmanuel House is owned by Mr John Dadzie, who also owns 2 other care homes in the Tottenham and Walthamstow areas. Emmanuel House is a 3-bedroom terrace house situated in a quiet residential area of Tottenham, North London, near to local shops and public transport. Emmanuel House is registered to provide support and care for 3 residents, who have mental health problems, and who may also be over 65 years of age. The home provides shared accommodation in the lounge, large kitchen/diner and a patio garden. There is 1 bathroom, which includes a toilet. The homes statement of purpose states that residents are encouraged to use all the Annual Service Review Page 2 of 5 0 9 0 2 2 0 0 9 home?s facilities and are supported to maintain their independence in the home and within the community. Placements at the home cost between #650 to #950 for each person per week. Residents are expected to pay separately for some items and activities, such as eating out. Following Inspecting for Better Lives the provider must make information available about the service, including inspection reports, to residents and other stakeholders. The Annual Service Review for this service included a a review of all the information that the Commission has received since the last key inspection in 9/02/09. This included: Notifications we have receieved from the service including matters required by law to reported to the Commission. What has this told us about the service? This small mental health home is run by Ashley Care Homes Limited. We have not received any concerns or complaints about this service since the last key inspection. The present manager also manages another home for Ashley Care Homes Limited. He was due for a fit person interview at the time of this Annual Service Review. What are we going to do as a result of this annual service review? Our inspection plan remains unchanged. We will do the next key inspection by 8/2/11 However, we can inspect the service at any time if we have concerns about the quality of the service or the safety of the people using the service as a result of this annual service review.
