What the care home does well At the time of writing this Report, 106 Queens Road is a `dormant` service. This means that there is no one living at the address. The Service is presently closed for business. The current quality rating for the Service was awarded at the time of the last Key Inspection. It is 1 star. This means that the Service was providing an adequate response to the needs of the people who were living there. We will only be able to review this quality rating when we have completed a Key Inspection. We usually inspect services by using information from people who live there. As there is no one using the Service, we cannot do Key Inspection at this time. What the care home could do better: Requirements that were identified at the previous Key Inspection will remain outstanding until we are satisfied that they have been met. We will expect them to have been met by the time the Service becomes active again. Or we will expect there to be a plan explaining how they will be met. The requirements in question are listed at the end of this Report. The Registered Provider has assured us that it will notify us before the Service is used to accommodate people who need residential support in the future. We will then consider the Registered Provider`s proposals. This will be done to ensure their compliance with the Regulations so that the people who move in are supported in ways that are right for them. Until people start using this service, we will follow our guidance on dormant services. This means we will do a Random Inspection every twelve months. You can read more about this in our guidance called `How we manage dormant services`.
