We visited the service on Wednesday 2nd. June 2010 and met with the Provider The purpose os the visit was to determine that residents personal monies were being correctly managed by the home. We auditted the personal finances of three residents and in each case found that balances conformed to the record keeping. With regard to last years group holiday we were satisfied that residents did not pay for accompanying staff. In the case of one resident, now deceased, we noted that the money held by the home had paid for the bulk of burial services. The Provider of the home paid the balance. The family requested that the home arrange in this way. We were satisfied that that another resident who has left the home took all her financial property with her.
