The home is established to accommodate up to 16 service users aged between 18 and 65. The home accommodates service users with moderate, severe, complex learning and physical disabilities, persons with autism and/or severe communication difficulties, persons whose behaviour challenges services and persons with complex epilepsy. This Randominspection was undertaken on the 26th of May 2010, between 10:00am and 1:00pm. The visit included discussion with the registered manager, who is currently seconded to manage another service on site until July 2010, and also with one of the two deputy managers who are sharing the management of the home in the interim. A selection of key indicators were examined to monitor the ongoing quality of the care provided and identify any concerns.
