This inspection was carried out on 4th October 2006.
CSCI has not published a star rating for this report, though using similar criteria we estimate that the report is Good. The way we rate inspection reports is consistent for all houses, though please be aware that this may be different from an official CSCI judgement.
The inspector made no statutory requirements on the home as a result of this inspection and there were no outstanding actions from the previous inspection report.

What the care home does well
The home continues to provide good quality care and support to the residents who live in the home. The home provides varied and flexible day care activities for all service users. The home is nicely decorated warm and comfortable. Staff continue to work well with service users with varied needs.
What has improved since the last inspection?
Since the last inspection the staff have worked hard to continue to improve records in the home. The Quality Assurance surveys have been developed further to include comments from visitors and other professionals. A full training analysis has also been completed and a comprehensive training programme developed for the next 6 months.
What the care home could do better:
The Home needs to develop a development report from the Quality Assurance surveys.
