This inspection was carried out on 20th February 2006.
CSCI has not published a star rating for this report, though using similar criteria we estimate that the report is Good. The way we rate inspection reports is consistent for all houses, though please be aware that this may be different from an official CSCI judgement.
The inspector found there to be outstanding requirements from the previous inspection report but made no statutory requirements on the home.

What the care home does well
The home is well managed. Residents` who spoke with the inspector stated they enjoyed living in the home. The staff were very friendly. Evidence was seen of the rapport held between residents` and staff. The home is maintained to a good standard promoting residents` safety and welfare.
What has improved since the last inspection?
Fire safety measures have been implemented as required since the last inspection. Risk assessment have been developed to ensure all aspects of client care is managed safely.
What the care home could do better:
There has only been one recommendation made in the report for staff to attend training in care of the dying.
