What the care home does well
Burden Road has a high proportion of staff that have been employed for a long time, thus giving continuity for the residents and their families. This service can also evidence good community integration and involvement for all residents; and a commendable rapport between staff and residents was clearly apparent.
What has improved since the last inspection?
Another, more suitable, lounge chair has been provided for the residents; and a new manager has been appointed.
What the care home could do better:
Record keeping, especially regarding the actual care delivered needs to be improved. Staff personnel files and documented evidence of staff training and development also requires improvement.
