What the care home does well
One of the social services care managers who visit the home used the term; "brilliant" to describe the quality of service at Forest Lodge. All those consulted highlighted the home`s successes in managing some of the residents` difficult behaviours and generally improving their health and wellbeing. One relative described the environment as being "homely and comfortable," another talked of being made "wonderfully welcome" at each visit. From conversations with people before and during the site visit and from observations in the home it was evident that staff are given the skills and support to meet residents` changing needs.
