A third Service User stated that `the place has done wonders for me and the staff are great`. All of the Service Users` who spoke to the Inspector commented on the homemade cakes and scones, which they enjoyed.
What has improved since the last inspection?
A water boiler has been installed in the main kitchen and fresh fruit is now available within the dining rooms.
What the care home could do better:
The Registered Manager should ensure that the Service Users` have a varied diet at teatime and supper, which they enjoy. Personnel files should contain the required information and staff must receive training appropriate to the work they carry out as well as training in the protection of vulnerable adults. The registered manager should ensure that the quality monitoring system is developed as soon as possible
