We carried out this Random Inspection based upon the Commission for Social Care Inspection methodology. As part of the inspection process we looked at the quality of care in all areas including choice of home, personal care, healthcare, daily life and activities, complaints, the environment, staffing, and management of the home. We found the home had completed a thorough care needs assessment of a person who had recently moved into the home and the staff members on duty had access to this information and understood fully the care they should be providing.
