This service was dormant on the date we wrote this report. Dormant means that it is not providing a service to people. This is because it is registered with us but is not open for business. We inspect services by using information from people who use the service. If there is no one using the service, we cannot do a full inspection and award a quality rating. Until people start using this service, we will follow our guidance on dormant services. This means we will do a random inspection every twelve months. However, the proprietor has told us that he intends to open the home within the next two weeks. Once this has taken place the home will be inspected in the same way as all operating services. You can read more about this in our guidance called How we manage dormant services, which is available on our web site www.cqc.org.uk The last Key Inspection took place on 7th June 2007. At that inspection the quality rating for this service was 2 star. This means the people who used this service experienced good quality outcomes. The rating remains the same at this random inspection. There were no outstanding requirements at the last Key Inspection. There was one recommendation which is no longer relevant, as it referred to the qualifications of the previous manager.
