The purpose of this inspection was to assess the progress that had been made in meeting with the statutory requirements that had been made at the previous key inspection of the home. The methods we used to gather information included visits to the home, conversations with the people who live there, their relatives, healthcare professionals and the staff. We looked in detail at the care and records of people, examined other records and looked around the home. Due to some serious concerns regarding the administration and safe handling of peoples medication within the home we were also accompanied by a pharmacy inspector on this occasion. What the care home does well: What they could do better: If you want to know what action the person responsible for this care home is taking following this report, you can contact them using the details set out on page 2.
