The inspector made no statutory requirements on the home as a result of this inspection and there were no outstanding actions from the previous inspection report.

If yes, what have they been: Date of last key inspection: Date of last annual service review (if applicable): Brief description of the service This is a respite care centre for people who have a physical disability and some people who may have learning difficulties as well. The centre provides personal and nursing care for up to six people at a time. People are referred to the service through Calderdale Social Services. The house was purpose built and is equipped with the adaptations people need to Annual Service Review Page 2 of 5 make their stay as comfortable as possible. The house is situated in Luddendenfoot, on the main Burnley Road between Halifax and Todmorden. There is a car park and a good bus service. The fees are paid by Social Services. Annual Service Review Page 3 of 5 Service update since the last key inspection or annual service review: What did we do for this annual service review? We looked at all the information that we have received, or asked for, since the last key inspection or annual service review. This included: The Annual Quality Assurance Assessment (AQAA) had been received at the time this Annual Service Review was completed. There were no concerns identified within it. However, the content of the AQAA was minimal and did not provide sufficient detail to show how the home is meeting the National Minimum Standards. Information we have about how the service has managed any complaints. What the service has told us about things that have happened , these are called notifications and are a legal requirement. The previous key inspection and the results of any other visits that we have made to the service in the last 12 months. Relevant information from other organisations. What other people have told us about the service What has this told us about the service? The service continues to let us know about things that have happened since our last key inspection and they have shown that they have managed issues well. They work well with us and have shown us that their service continues to provide good outcomes for the people who use it. What are we going to do as a result of this annual service review? The service continues to let us know about things that have happened since our last key inspection and they have shown that they have managed issues well. They work well with us and have shown us that their service continues to provide good outcomes for the people who use it. We are not going to change our inspection plan as a result of this review. We will do a key inspection by 2nd July 2010. The previous Annual Service Review was completed on 19th August 2008. However, we can inspect the service at any time if we have concerns about the quality of the service or the safety of the people using the service.
