The inspector made no statutory requirements on the home as a result of this inspection and there were no outstanding actions from the previous inspection report.

What the care home does well
The home offers highly individualised care to its residents by a demonstrably caring and dedicated team of staff, supported by a sound and clear care planning system. The standard of care is good and there is a happy and lively atmosphere. Residents enjoy the homely atmosphere and environment.
What has improved since the last inspection?
The home has updated its Service Users Guide together with its Complaints Procedure. The fitting of thermostatically controlled mixer valves to baths, and the upgrading of the electrical system have further safeguarded residents` health and safety.
What the care home could do better:
Residents` fuller understanding of arrangements made by their representatives on their behalf could be enhanced.
