The house itself is roomy, well decorated and comfortable. It is situated in a residential street, close to a rail station and within reasonably easy reach of the centre of Croydon and its many community facilities. People who use the service are provided with a single bedroom and they share a bathroom. They also have use of a 2 3 0 2 2 0 0 9 Annual Service Review Page 2 of 6 large lounge, kitchen and a spacious rear garden. The current fees charged for a placement at the service is £500.00 per week. Annual Service Review Page 3 of 6 Service update since the last key inspection or annual service review:
What did we do for this annual service review? We looked at all the information that we have received or asked for since the last key inspection. This included: Information we have about how the service has managed any complaints. What the service has told us about things that have happened in the service, these are called notifications and are a legal requirement. The previous key inspection and the results of any other visits that we have made to the service in the last 12 months. We also spoke on the telephone to the registered provider about the service. What has this told us about the service? The registered provider told us that; Staff has received training on the administration of medication. The Statement of Purpose has been reviewed and updated. One person has moved out of the service to a supported living scheme. One person has moved into the service. All of the people who use the service have had their placements reviewed by their care managers. The bathroom has been refurbished. They have installed hand rails at the entrance to the house. The service has kept Commission informed about things that have happened in the service. The registered provider told us that they plan to attended training on the Deprivation of Liberty Act. The registered provider told us that they have not had any safeguarding referrals. The registered provider told us that they have not received any complaints in the last twelve months. The Care Quality Commission has not received any complaints about the service. What are we going to do as a result of this annual service review?
