What the care home does well
This was a focussed inspection on medicine management. We did not look at any other aspects of care within the service.
What the care home could do better:
We gave full feedback to the manager. We explained the shortfalls identified in this random inspection and that we were concerned about the control and handling of medicines in the service. We found that the four medicine requirements had not been met and people were at risk of harm. We informed the manager that further enforcement action may be taken by CQC.
