This inspection was carried out on 4th October 2006.

What the care home does well
Minstead Lodge provides care in a well-maintained pleasant welcoming environment by a well-managed, motivated, trained staff team who work in a manner that recognises student`s needs and aspirations including the desire for independence. An area of note that exceeded the expectations of the standards is the provision of activities where the range is wide-ranging and designed to appeal to and meet the needs of students of a range of abilities.
What has improved since the last inspection?
Since the last inspection a large heated covered pool has been built in the garden.
