Annual Service Review Page 3 of 5 Service update since the last key inspection or annual service review: What did we do for this annual service review? We looked at all the information that we received, or asked for, since the last inspection. This included looking at all of the things that other people told us about how well the home worked. The Commission also received information from the service telling us about anything that had happened or changed since the last inspection of the service. We looked at all the information that we received, or asked for these are called notifications and are a legal requirement. What has this told us about the service? The Commission looked at the information that we had received and our judgment is that the home is still providing an excellent service to the people that they support and they continue to identify ways to further improve the services that they provide. All of the people that use the service have a person centred care profile. This helps people reading them a good opportunity to understanding peoples individual care needs, their preferences and their ways of communicating. Where appropriate these plans are provided in other formats including pictorial forms to make sure that the people that they involve understand them. The care staff receive all of the right training and supervision to make sure that they have the necessary knowledge and skills to safely care for the people that use the service. What are we going to do as a result of this annual service review? We are not going to change our inspection plan and will do a key inspection by 28th April 2010. However we can inspect the service at any time if we have concerns about the quality of the service or the safety of the people using the service.
