What the care home does well We discussed each of the five concerns with the registered manager Mr Phillimore and the deputy. We were provided with satisfactory explanations, showed evidence to support the homes position and assured that the information we were provided with was not correct. Readers of this report can be assured that people`s medications are not being taken, that staffing levels are adequate, money is available for food and staff have received relevant training. We discussed the circumstances that had resulted in one of the people who live in the home sustaining an injury, were assured that it was an accident and that risk assessment processes have been followed to reduce the risk. We have limited the amount of information we are recording in the report in order to protect people`s identity. The home manager should be contacted for further information if this is required. What the care home could do better: We have not found it necessary to issue any requirements following this visit. The manager is fully aware of those areas where improvements are needed and has a plan of action to resolve any outstanding issues.
