What the care home does well The home write down, so that people may be able to understand it, how they are going to help the people who live there. People can choose lots of things for themselves, like the things that they do during the day and the person who is their key worker. People have lots of interesting things to do during the day , so that they do not get bored and can enjoy their lives. People are helped to go to Dr`s and nurses, if they need to, to make sure they stay as fit and healthy as possible. How to complain about things you don`t like is written down in different ways so that people may be able to understand what it says. People know how to make complaints and can also put things in a `grumbles book`, so that everyone knows what they`re not happy about. The home is very relaxed and homely so that the people who live there have a very comfortable place to live. There are plenty of staff around so that people are properly looked after and can do the things they want to, during the day. People are kept very involved in what is happening in the home and they have several ways of telling the staff what they think of the home. The home is properly run, for the people who live there. What the care home could do better: The random inspection visit did not result in any requirements or recommendations. The service continues to provide excellent outcomes for those who live there.
