We carried out a random inspection, which looked at two peoples care and assessment records, two staff recruitment files, accident and incident reporting and medication administration. We toured the premises with the homes manager and also looked at the homes annual quality assurance audit, which provided updated information about the home. We found that the manager and staff team continued to provide an excellent service to the people living at the home. The manager and staff team continued to review and monitor the quality of the service provided and to update policies, procedures and practices. Care planning and assessment records had been reviewed and extended, to give more detail on the level of individualized care people received. There had been further development of social histories for each person living at the home so that staff shared past and current experiences with them, helping to build positive relationships throughout the home. Ongoing maintenance and repair of one part of the home had brought all areas of the home up to a high standard of decor. So that people lived in personalized , accommodation of a high standard, that was clean welcoming and well maintained. What the care home does well:
